she makes me miss my mom

We had a little old lady come in to sign some documents today. When she was initially setting up her appointment she had called and whoever answered the phone told her I was out sick. When she saw me today, she asked me if I was feeling better. She really couldn't be any cuter. It was a few weeks ago that I was out sick...but she remembered. Things like that - a motherly figure like her asking how I am - makes me miss my mom. I got a little teary eyed when she asked me.
